Terms of Use

Climbing is dangerous

Rock climbing, bouldering and scrambling are activities with a risk of serious injury or death. The information on this site is provided for general orientation only. It is not instruction, it is not a substitute for experience, and it is not a guarantee that a route, anchor or landing is safe.

You are responsible for your own judgement, your own equipment, your own ability and your own decisions in the field. Conditions change: holds break, bolts corrode, landings wash out and access rules are revised without notice.

Accuracy and no warranty

Grades, approach times, landing descriptions and ethics notes are our best understanding at the date printed on the page. They may contain errors and they may be out of date. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Access and land

Many of the areas described are on private land, in nature reserves, or in national parks with their own rules. Nothing on this site grants permission to enter any area. Always check local signage and closures before you climb, and follow temporary raptor and wildlife restrictions.

Content and reuse

Text, topology figures, rock sections and page design on this site are our copyright. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the crag page. You may not republish a page in full, and you may not use the figures in a commercial product without written permission.

Requests go to the contact address on the contact page. Trademarks and place names remain the property of their owners.

Advertising and third parties

This site displays advertising supplied by third parties. We do not endorse the advertisers and we are not responsible for the products or services they offer. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we do not control their content.

Your use of this site is also subject to the privacy policy.
